As enshrined in our constitution, we endeavor to always protect the interest of shipping agents and operators in Kenya. To successfully accomplish this, we work closely with other agencies in the maritime industry both nationally and internationally. In Kenya we regularly consult with such bodies as Kenya Ports Authority, Kenya Maritime Authority, Kenya Revenue Authority, Kenya Shippers Council and Kenya International Freight & Warehousing Association amongst others.

Internationally, we consult with the umbrella body for ship brokers and agents, the FONASBA. This we do with the view to promoting universally adequate and efficient shipping services meeting both international starndards and in line with Government policy. The ultimate aim is the development of Kenya´s seaborne trade.
